great one to start off the year! top 5 favourite bands for me. genius. still have me very beat up t-shirt that i got made in Reads on Nassau St. many many years ago i was also lucky to meet Nikki Sudden before he died, he played a gig to about 10 people in JJ Smyths, had a pint with him after, super nice guy and so fucking cool. also check out there solo stuff, and Epic Soundtracks was also in Red Krayola for a while, Gina Birch and Laura Logic where also in the same line up.......oh oh and check out teve Threatment, SM where his backing band, they took the whole T-Rex obsession even further
Had their 'jane from occupied europe' album years ago.Nikki Sudden did some stuff with roland s howard if I remember correctly. Also there was a great NS + the jacobites 12" in the late 80s, but the name escapes me. I think epic soundtracks brother died also a few years back?
