  2. possibly the other way round, possibly. Bert Jansch was a formidable player in the early folk revial scene, and was a huge influence on a lot of people at the time. I'm a huge Jansch/Pentangle fan, and love those early Martyn records, London Conversation in particular

  3. yeah London Conversation is a great album. I own a beautiful mono press of it. i love his version of cocaine. im more into the mid 70s lps with danny thompson on bass. match made in heaven. the right bass player makes all the difference..

  4. actually i think martyn, drake, pentangle & string band might have played the small circut togetheer in the incredible string club back in the day. no wonder there are similarities :-)
