when i made the comment, the one i was thinking of was "3 Compositions of New Jazz" on the Delmark label. Could have been in 1968 or pretty close to that. its a hard listen but i guess from that tune you posted you have the patience. his son fronts the band "Battles". Math rock style or what ever the fuck they call prog these days. he usually plays free type jazz if that your bag :-)
